Welcome to Homeschool Language Lab. Our program forGrades 1-12 blends language instruction in English, Spanish, or French with modern methods and soft skills development.

Operating from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, we blend structured language lessons with dynamic, interactive activities such as Speak up club, Story explorer club, Screen story club, and Scripted voice club. Our program extends beyond language courses to create a vibrant, supportive community. As part of our ongoing efforts, we plan thematic day trips, weekend excursions, and workshops for parents, covering topics such as neurodiversity and bullying (subject to community agreement).

Why This Approach Works

By combining theoretical lessons with practical workshops, this approach helps students reinforce what they learn and apply it in meaningful contexts. It builds confidence, enhances fluency, and makes language learning both engaging and effective.

Our Personalized Learning approach ensures that each student gets the attention they need to feel confident and engaged. With small group sizes, every teenager receives plenty of individual support, allowing them to progress at their own pace and practice speaking comfortably, whether they are beginners or already have some language skills.

Story’s Explorer (A1 Level): Explore storytelling and basic creative expression using simple language.

Screen Stories (A2 Level): Learn through storytelling in media, improving comprehension and vocabulary.

Speak Up (B1 Level): Build fluency and confidence in spoken communication through interactive discussions.

Creative Writing (B2 Level): Develop advanced writing skills by crafting original and polished works.

9:30 – 10:10	English Lesson – Part 1	Introduction to basic vocabulary related to the theme using flashcards, pictures, and simple sentences. Focus on pronunciation and word recognition.
10:10 – 10:20	Break	Short movement break with a fun activity or free time.
10:20 – 10:50	English Lesson – Part 2	Grammar Focus: Simple Present Tense (affirmative, negative, and question forms). Practice with subject-verb agreement through sentence building, fill-in-the-blank activities, and simple Q&A practice.
10:50 – 11:00	Break	Relax and refresh before the next activity.
11:00 – 11:40	Screen Story Workshop – Part 1	Children create a short digital or illustrated story using the vocabulary and grammar from the lesson. Focus on using the simple present tense in sentences and questions.
11:40 – 11:50	Break	Quick stretch or social time.
11:50 – 12:30	Screen Story Workshop – Part 2	Children present their stories in pairs or groups, practicing asking and answering questions using the simple present tense.
